Finally a nice day to go outside

The yard in VA is huge! We wanted to take Jameson out so bad but it either rained or snowed the entire time we were there. Finally on the last day it was chilly but there was no more rain or snow. He loved being able to crawl around and check out the pond. All the fish were down at the bottom by now so no fishys for him to see.

Christmas Decorations

Jameson had so much fun "helping" his Grandma Sue decorate her house.

Making sure that there aren't any lights left on their wheel.
Oooohhhh what's that?
Ahhh... its tissue paper. My favorite.
Here Grandma I have the lights for you!
All done! It looks great!

Visting with Uncle Shaun

Peyton's closest friend just got back from a tour in Kosovo and he came and hung out with us while we were in VA. Jameson didn't know what to think but Shaun loved Jameson.

PS Shaun will be joining us on our trek across country... more to come on that.

Walking with anything he finds

All the floors in the house in VA are hardwood. Jameson learned very quickly that he could use anything that was his hit as a walker!

Then Granddaddy decided that Jameson needed a really walker so he built one for him! Jameson walked Floyd the cow all around!

Bath in Grandma's Sink

Jameson takes a bath every night so that he falls asleep better. Well when we were in Virginia there are no baths! So that left us with the sink.

We had to put towels everywhere because he splashes all the water out of the sink and onto the floor. I think he had the best time in that sink!

On a plane

The first week of December brought us one of Jameson's first.... his first airplane ride. We took a trip to Virgina to see Grandma Sue and Granddaddy. We had an interesting flight. We took off from Manchester Airport in NH and landed for a long layover in Detroit, MI. We got a much smaller plane and things were going really well. Jameson was fast asleep in my arms and the plane was going to land earlier ( I couldn't have been happier). As we went to land the plane suddenly pulled up (think touch n' go's!) and we circled Roanoke Airport for the next 30 mins. The airline stewardess then came over and wanted to show me how to brace an infant for an emergency landing. I don't think I have ever seen my whole life flash before me. Come to find out the front landing gear wouldn't go down. We finally landed (hardest landing in the whole world) and there were hazmat trucks, ambulances, fire trucks, you name it and it was there waiting for us.

We got there safely and Jameson had no idea!

He got his own seat because the plane was empty. Jameson was going to try and fix the landing gear with his screwdriver.

Daddy was so proud

Every year at Thanksgiving Shelton High (my sisters' high school) and Derby play in a football game since they are "huge" rivals. Lauren cheers for Shelton High and since Shelton was killing Derby she had very little to do.
So Jameson went and hung out with all the cheerleaders! Needless to say Peyton was proud to say that he is son was in the middle of all the cheerleaders!

All bundled up!

All I have to say here is that he does not like his jackets! The pictures say everything else.

The Twins turn 1!

The twins, Leo & Lorenzo, turned 1 the first weekend in November and we heading down to celebrate with them!

Grammie's Stairs

Since we have no stairs in our apartment when we head down to my parent's house Jameson falls in love with the stairs. He climbs them pretty well but it of course makes all of us scared! The last time we were down there Jameson thought it was cool that he could hold on to the railings at the top of the stairs and yell down to his daddy and his grandpa as they went walking by. My mom and I were scared because he could get his whole head through the railings!!

Mohawk

Peyton thought it would be funny to give Jameson a mohawk. As we stood laughing because my blue-eyed baby wearing a preppy sweater was standing there with this funny hair, Jameson thought he was the coolest!

Dog's water bowl

The other night Jameson happened to come across the dog's water "bubbler". He has always played with their food bowls when they are empty but this was a little different and I couldn't stop laughing! He stuck his hands right in and started to splash away! By the time I took the water bubbler away he was soaking wet!

Pumpkins

We took a trip to Wilson's Farm and Jameson LOVED the pumpkins. Some of them were just the right size for him!

Big Boy Cup

The bottle just isn't as much fun as a sippy cup! Of course most of the "juice" ends up on the front of the shirt and not in his mouth but we are working on it!

"No"

I told him no and to stop! I won't tell you what I was telling him no to but if you have given him a bath you know!

Some one wasn't happy with that!

Hi-5

Every morning so that I can finish getting ready... I get Jameson his bottle and he drinks it while checking out one of his favorite TV shows - Hi-5!! I know horrible mom that I am letting him watch TV at such a young age but it means that I get 20 mins more time to get ready without him climbing up my leg!!

Me & my lion

We took a trip to Babies R Us and while there Jameson was totally overwhelmed with all the toys that were out! I thought that it would be cool to get him something that he would GROW-INTO! We bought the lion that is a "walker". I thought Jameson would just push his nose and have it sing the song... not the case! Jameson walks around with his lion now! Just what I needed him to start doing!

World Series Trophy

I had to go to Fenway Park the other day to see if we could have our office holiday party there. Since I was working from home and had Jameson he got to come with me. We walked all around Fenway and then just as we were about to leave our contact for Fenway pointed out something behind a glass panel and asked if we wanted our pictures taken.

That's right Jameson has his picture with the 2004 & 2007 World Series Trophies! What 7 month old can say that!

Ear Infection

On Monday Jameson was not himself at all. I thought that part of that might be because he started at a new daycare center. He didn't nap and he didn't eat as good as he normally does. I brought him home and got him into bed early. He didn't sleep... Peyton was up with him all night. He then refused to nap on Tuesday too! So now we have a lovely pleasant son who hasn't napped in 2 days and barely slept at night. Then I noticed he was "digging" at his ear until it bled. I called the pediatrician and they said to bring him! She told me those two dreaded words: EAR INFECTION!! So Jameson is on medication for that plus pain killer drops for his ears. All day today the only thing he had done is sleep, eat and then sleep again! My poor baby!

Me & my cousins

When I was home last I headed over to my Aunty Krissy's for dinner and of course so that her and the boys could see Jameson! Her two youngest and Jameson had the best crawling around and exploring! Michael and Nicky made sure that Jameson didn't leave empty handed and they sent him home with plenty of stuff animals!

Apple picking

On my birthday we headed up to a farm in New Hampshire for Military Appreciation Day. The farm was allowing military families to come and pick all the apples they wanted, listen to some music play some games and then finish it off with some apple crisp and some apple cider! It was a perfect day and we had the best time. Jameson even found an apple all for himself and I mean all for himself. We could not loose the apple or Jameson would freak out! Finally we had to distract him and grab the apple because he kept dropping it on the way down the hill. We had a blast and the weather could not have been nicer!

Red Sox

Jon got tickets for Peyton, myself and Heather to go and see the last home game of the Red Sox's regular season. We decided that the easiest way to get there was to take the T and not bring a stroller because we were sure about where we would put even the little one.Peyton & Jameson on the T heading to the game!

So when we got to Fenway we were late and our seats with right in the middle of the aisle!! Getting to the seats was not an easy feat with the baby and 4 adults! But we finally made and the game was a blast! The Red Sox did loose! The other team walked the last batter so that all bases would be loaded and then they struck out the next person at bat... it was kind of depressing and I am not even a Red Sox fan! We had a blast though!

Jameson slept through most of the game!

Swiming

I decided that since Jameson liked the pool so much this summer that we should start him in some lessons. He has been going since the middle of September at the local Y. He is the youngest, with his friend Dylan only a week older than him, otherwise most of the children are at least a year old. The two of them have the best time though. You can always count on Jameson and Dylan to splash the most and to go under after they get on the slide! I have a ton of pictures and some videos but I'll try to keep it short!

Jameson at his first class

Watching Daddy blow bubbles

Splashing himself!

Going underwater for the third time. The first two were when he went down the slide right under and Peyton caught him! Peyton had to do this class because I was too nervous to put him under first!
