The yard in VA is huge! We wanted to take Jameson out so bad but it either rained or snowed the entire time we were there. Finally on the last day it was chilly but there was no more rain or snow. He loved being able to crawl around and check out the pond. All the fish were down at the bottom by now so no fishys for him to see.

Visting with Uncle Shaun
Peyton's closest friend just got back from a tour in Kosovo and he came and hung out with us while we were in VA. Jameson didn't know what to think but Shaun loved Jameson.
PS Shaun will be joining us on our trek across country... more to come on that.

Walking with anything he finds
All the floors in the house in VA are hardwood. Jameson learned very quickly that he could use anything that was his hit as a walker!
Then Granddaddy decided that Jameson needed a really walker so he built one for him! Jameson walked Floyd the cow all around!

Bath in Grandma's Sink
Jameson takes a bath every night so that he falls asleep better. Well when we were in Virginia there are no baths! So that left us with the sink.
We had to put towels everywhere because he splashes all the water out of the sink and onto the floor. I think he had the best time in that sink!

On a plane
The first week of December brought us one of Jameson's first.... his first airplane ride. We took a trip to Virgina to see Grandma Sue and Granddaddy. We had an interesting flight. We took off from Manchester Airport in NH and landed for a long layover in Detroit, MI. We got a much smaller plane and things were going really well. Jameson was fast asleep in my arms and the plane was going to land earlier ( I couldn't have been happier). As we went to land the plane suddenly pulled up (think touch n' go's!) and we circled Roanoke Airport for the next 30 mins. The airline stewardess then came over and wanted to show me how to brace an infant for an emergency landing. I don't think I have ever seen my whole life flash before me. Come to find out the front landing gear wouldn't go down. We finally landed (hardest landing in the whole world) and there were hazmat trucks, ambulances, fire trucks, you name it and it was there waiting for us.
We got there safely and Jameson had no idea!

Daddy was so proud
Every year at Thanksgiving Shelton High (my sisters' high school) and Derby play in a football game since they are "huge" rivals. Lauren cheers for Shelton High and since Shelton was killing Derby she had very little to do.
So Jameson went and hung out with all the cheerleaders! Needless to say Peyton was proud to say that he is son was in the middle of all the cheerleaders!
